Wheel and Tire Sizes
Front Wheel Size - 17x7 Boyd Coddington Dictators  with 4 inch backspacing.

Front Tire Size- 245-40/17 Bridgestone

And yes it clears!  If its lowered, a bit of fender lip roling will solve the problem

Other wheel and tire combos I have used are the following all had 3-1/2 inch backspacing

Front 14x7 w/ 225/60-14s
Front  15x5 w/ 195/65-15s
Front 16x7 w/ 245/45-16s

4 inch backspacing will work with the above tires as well
Rear Wheel Size - 18x8 Boyd Coddingtons with 4 inch backspacing.

Rear Tire Size - 275/35-18  Brigstones

Yes these will fit in your Maverick as well again if you car is lowered in the rear you will need to roll the outer fender lip if you don't want it to rub.

Other wheel and tire combos I have used are the following with a 3-1/2 backspacing

14x8 w/ 235/60-14s
15x8 w/ 245/60-15s
15x8 w/ 255/60-15s or G-60/15s
15x8 w/  J-60/15s (M&H racemasters)
16x8 w/ 255/50-16

My suggestions would also try a 4 inch backspacing with these same size tires above.

How to Measure Wheel Backspace
Since there are so many people out there who seem to be experts on what backspace will work on your Maverick.  I say find out yourself so you won't worry about what will work and you'll know what "will" work!   Or learn how to measure your own wheels so you do not give false information to others!

The easiest way to measure backspace is to lay the wheel face down onto the ground so the backside of the wheel is facing up.  Take a straight edge (don't be lazy and eye it,  this is one of the biggest mistakes i have seen people do) and lay it diagonally across the inboard flange of the wheel.  Take a tape measure and measure the distance from where the straight edge contacts the inboard flange to the hub mounting pad of the wheel.  This measurement is backspace.  The below photo shows three wheels with 2",3", & 4" backspace.
Items required to measure wheel backspace:

Tape Measure
Straight edge
Wheel without tire (suggested)
